Gücüm Vacuum Booster Systems

Vacuum boosters are used to assist the suction of a liquid-ring vacuum pump. They have no function on their own. Vacuum levels that a liquid-ring vacuum pump cannot achieve on its own can be easily reached with the help of a vacuum booster.First, the liquid-ring vacuum pump is activated. Once a specific vacuum pressure value is reached (which can be 50–80 mbar), the vacuum booster is also activated, and depending on operating conditions, absolute vacuum levels of 5–10 mbar can be achieved.

We also offer two-stage booster systems for achieving even higher vacuum levels. With a two-stage booster system, vacuum levels as low as 1–5 mbar can be achieved.
