APX 05 Metallic Diaphragm Pump
The APX 05 Metal Diaphragm Pump is an air-operated diaphragm pump with a metal housing, featuring a 3/4" threaded connection and a capacity range of 0–57 liters per minute.
The double diaphragm, driven by compressed air, provides a leak-free transfer without the need for a packing gland; the pump is self-priming and is not damaged by dry running or closed valve (deadhead) conditions.
It is manufactured with an aluminum housing; options for internal components and diaphragms include Neoprene, Buna-N, Teflon, Viton, Santoprene, and EPDM.
The correct combination can be selected based on the pumped chemical; the Teflon diaphragm option allows for use with aggressive solvents.
It offers a discharge head of 0–84 mss and a suction lift of 6–8 m; it can handle fluids containing solid particles up to 3 mm in size.
The pump is driven by compressed air in the 0–8.4 bar range; the air connection is 1/4", and air consumption ranges from 3.6 to 34 m³/h.
It is equipped with a metal housing for the harsh conditions of industrial sites; its impact resistance is higher than that of plastic-housed series.
