AP 30 Plastic Diaphragm Pump
AP 30 Plastic Diaphragm Pump: A plastic-bodied, air-operated diaphragm pump with 3" threaded and flanged connections, operating within a capacity range of 0–894 liters per minute.
The double diaphragm, driven by compressed air, provides a leak-free transfer without the need for a packing gland; the pump is self-priming and is not damaged by dry running or closed valve (deadhead) conditions.
It is manufactured with a polypropylene housing; Neoprene, Buna-N, Teflon, Viton, Santoprene, and EPDM options are available for the internal components and diaphragms.
The polypropylene housing is suitable for transferring acids and alkalis; the Teflon diaphragm option allows for use with aggressive solvents.
The discharge head ranges from 0 to 84 mss, with a maximum suction lift of 6 to 8 m; it can transfer liquids containing solid particles up to 8 mm in size.
Compressed air in the 0–8.4 bar range is sufficient for drive; it consumes 33–235 m³/h of air through a 3/4" air connection.
The plastic housing ensures a long service life in corrosive environments; the series is designed for chemical transfer lines.
