AP 15 Plastic Diaphragm Pump
The AP 15 Plastic Diaphragm Pump is an air-operated diaphragm pump with a plastic housing, featuring a 1½" threaded and flanged connection and a capacity range of 0–400 L/min.
The double diaphragm, driven by compressed air, provides a leak-free transfer without the need for a packing gland; the pump is self-priming and is not damaged by dry running or closed valve (deadhead) conditions.
The pump housing is available in polypropylene, polypropylene, and PVDF (Kynar) materials; options for the diaphragm and internal components in contact with the fluid include Neoprene, Buna-N, Teflon, Viton, Santoprene, and EPDM.
The PVDF (Kynar) option provides high resistance to aggressive chemicals; the polypropylene housing is suitable for transferring acids and alkalis.
It offers a discharge head of 0–84 mss and a suction lift of 6–8 m; it can handle fluids containing solid particles up to 6 mm in size.
The operating air pressure is 0–8.4 bar, the air connection is 3/4", and the air consumption is specified as 16–85 m³/h.
The plastic-bodied series serves as an alternative to metal-bodied pumps for the transfer of corrosive liquids.
