AP 14 Plastic Diaphragm Pump
The AP 14 Plastic Diaphragm Pump is an air-operated diaphragm pump with a plastic housing, featuring a 1½" threaded and flanged connection and a capacity range of 0–200 L/min.
The double diaphragm, driven by compressed air, provides a leak-free transfer without the need for a packing gland; the pump is self-priming and is not damaged by dry running or closed valve (deadhead) conditions.
The pump housing is available in polypropylene, polypropylene, and PVDF (Kynar) materials; options for the diaphragm and internal components in contact with the fluid include Neoprene, Buna-N, Teflon, Viton, Santoprene, and EPDM.
The appropriate combination can be selected based on the chemical being pumped; the PVDF (Kynar) option provides high resistance to aggressive chemicals; the polypropylene housing is suitable for transferring acids and alkalis.
The maximum suction head is 6–8 m, and the discharge head is 0–84 mss; it can be used with liquids containing solids up to 4 mm in diameter.
Compressed air in the 0–8.4 bar range is sufficient for drive; it consumes 10–67 m³/h of air via a 1/2" air connection.
The plastic housing ensures a long service life in corrosive environments; the series is designed for chemical transfer lines.
