AP 10 Hygienic Diaphragm Pump
The AP 10 Hygienic Diaphragm Pump is a hygienic air-operated diaphragm pump featuring a 1" (25 mm) Tri-Clamp connection and a capacity range of 0–160 L/min.
Air-operated diaphragm pumps operate on the principle of dual diaphragms that move alternately using compressed air; their seal-less design ensures leak-free transfer, they are self-priming, and they are not damaged by dry running.
The housing is made of 316L stainless steel; Teflon, Santoprene, and EPDM materials can be used for the diaphragm and internal parts that come into contact with the fluid.
Material selection is based on the fluid being handled: the stainless steel option is preferred for corrosive fluids and processes requiring hygiene; the Teflon diaphragm option allows for use with aggressive solvents.
The discharge head ranges from 0 to 84 mss, the maximum suction lift is 6 to 8 m, and it can transfer liquids containing solid particles up to 4 mm in size.
The pump is driven by compressed air in the 0–8.4 bar range; the air connection is 1/2", and air consumption ranges from 10 to 67 m³/h.
Since the Tri-Clamp connections can be removed and installed without tools, the pump is preferred in hygienic processes such as food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic applications that require rapid cleaning.
