AP 30 Metal Diaphragm Pump
AP 30 Metal Diaphragm Pump: A metal-bodied, air-operated diaphragm pump with a 3" threaded connection, operating within a capacity range of 0–894 liters per minute.
The double diaphragm, driven by compressed air, provides a leak-free transfer without the need for a packing gland; the pump is self-priming and is not damaged by dry running or closed valve (deadhead) conditions.
The housing material can be selected from aluminum, cast iron, or stainless steel (316); materials such as Neoprene, Buna-N, Teflon, Viton, Santoprene, and EPDM can be used for the diaphragm and internal parts that come into contact with the fluid.
Material selection is based on the fluid being handled: the stainless steel option is preferred for corrosive fluids and processes requiring hygiene; the Teflon diaphragm option allows for use with aggressive solvents.
It provides a discharge head of 0–84 mss and a suction lift of 6–8 m; it can handle fluids containing solid particles up to 8 mm in size.
The pump is driven by compressed air in the 0–8.4 bar range; the air connection is 3/4", and air consumption ranges from 33 to 235 m³/h.
It is equipped with a metal housing for the harsh conditions of industrial sites; its impact resistance is higher than that of plastic-housed series.
