AP 10 Plastic Diaphragm Pump
AP 10 Plastic Diaphragm Pump: A plastic-bodied air-operated diaphragm pump with 1" threaded and flanged connections, operating within a capacity range of 0–160 liters per minute.
Air-operated diaphragm pumps operate on the principle of a double diaphragm that moves alternately with compressed air; their seal-less design ensures leak-free transfer, they are self-priming, and they are not damaged by dry running.
It is manufactured with polypropylene, polypropylene, and PVDF (Kynar) housing options; alternatives for internal components and diaphragms include Neoprene, Buna-N, Teflon, Viton, Santoprene, and EPDM.
Material selection is based on the fluid being handled: the PVDF (Kynar) option provides high resistance to aggressive chemicals; the polypropylene housing is suitable for transferring acids and alkalis.
The maximum suction lift is 6–8 m, and the discharge head is 0–84 mss; it can be used with liquids containing solids up to 4 mm in diameter.
Compressed air in the 0–8.4 bar range is sufficient for drive; it consumes 10–67 m³/h of air via a 1/2" air connection.
The plastic housing ensures a long service life in corrosive environments; the series is designed for chemical transfer lines.
