AP 06 Plastic Diaphragm Pump
The AP 06 Plastic Diaphragm Pump, a plastic-bodied air-operated diaphragm pump, is available with a 1/2"-3/4" threaded connection; its capacity ranges from 0 to 57 liters per minute.
The double diaphragm, driven by compressed air, provides a leak-free transfer without the need for a packing gland; the pump is self-priming and is not damaged by dry running or closed valve (deadhead) conditions.
The housing is made of polypropylene; materials such as Neoprene, Buna-N, Teflon, Viton, Santoprene, and EPDM can be used for the diaphragm and internal parts that come into contact with the fluid.
The appropriate combination can be selected based on the chemical being pumped; the polypropylene housing is suitable for transferring acids and alkalis; the Teflon diaphragm option allows for use with aggressive solvents.
The discharge head is 0–84 mss, the maximum suction lift is 6–8 m, and it can transfer liquids containing solid particles up to 3 mm in size.
The operating air pressure is 0–8.4 bar, the air connection is 1/4", and the air consumption is specified as 3.6–34 m³/h.
The plastic-bodied series serves as an alternative to metal-bodied pumps for transferring corrosive liquids.
