AP 05 Plastic Diaphragm Pump
The AP 05 Plastic Diaphragm Pump is an air-operated diaphragm pump with a plastic housing, featuring 3/4" threaded and flanged connections and a capacity range of 0–57 L/min.
Its operating principle relies on compressed air alternately moving two diaphragms; this seal-less design eliminates the risk of leakage. The pump is self-priming, resistant to dry running, and its flow rate can be continuously adjusted with air pressure.
The pump housing is available in polypropylene, polypropylene, and PVDF (Kynar) materials; options for the diaphragm and internal components in contact with the fluid include Neoprene, Buna-N, Teflon, Viton, Santoprene, and EPDM.
The PVDF (Kynar) option provides high resistance to aggressive chemicals; the polypropylene housing is suitable for transferring acids and alkalis.
It provides a discharge head of 0–84 mss and a suction lift of 6–8 m; it can handle fluids containing solid particles up to 3 mm in size.
The pump is driven by compressed air in the 0–8.4 bar range; the air connection is 1/4", and air consumption ranges from 3.6 to 34 m³/h.
With its corrosion-resistant plastic housing, it is suitable for use in transfer lines containing corrosive chemicals.
